This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from pookaparty.fr (the “site” or “we").
This privacy policy forms an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. It applies whenever you provide your Personal Data to Pooka and to any processing that Pooka may carry out on such Data.
Thus, you expressly accept the use of your Personal Data in accordance with this privacy policy, whenever you place an order on the Website, create your customer account or take part in a campaign; or when you contact our customer service or agree to receive commercial communications from us, and more generally when you browse and/or visit our Website, or interact with Pooka Party in any way whatsoever.
1. Personal information we collect
When you visit the site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, ip address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. additionally, as you browse the site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the site, and information about how you interact with the site. we refer to this automatically-collected information as “device information”.
we collect device information using the following technologies:

we use the device information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your ip address), and more generally to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
3. Sharing your personal information

5. Automatic Decision-making

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
- Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
- Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
